naneeplum Dangerous! One star for how the mat looks BUT when I stepped onto it after showering my foot slipped on the fluffy,shiney surface of the mat"s fabric! Not good for what is a bath mat. I am going to machine wash it to see if it improves, maybe it has a coating on it from manufacturing. If it doesn't improve I will be sending it back to M&S.

However, I washed it recently for the third (maybe 4th) time and it literally fell apart in the washer. It was very strange. I was washing on a short cycle, cool water. Rather disappointed as it seemed like good quality and I expected it to last much longer!

Jodi70 Feels luxurious but slippy Great thick soft pile and looks great in my bathroom. But it feels soo slippy to stand on. I've washed it twice and haven't used fabric conditioner so was hoping it'd help but nope. So anyone bad on your feet, take care!
