Leather Chunky Block Heel Loafers

These were worth paying a little extra for: soft (no blisters having worn them without socks for several hours), and my heel stays firmly in the shoe when I'm walking, which didn't happen with the M&S brand I tried and had to return last year.

I bought these shoes about 4 weeks ago ready to start my new job. I have now been wearing them for 4 weeks Mon-Fri and my feet are ruined!! The right shoe is a tighter fit than the left which has caused my right little toe to be so painful I can't even put them on for work today. I have persevered with these shoes as I love them, they are a good solid shoe and have the potential to be really comfortable. I do not have wide feet so I'm unsure why they are so painful on one foot and the left shoe seems to slip every time I walk with ease. I've tried different types of socks and no socks and I cannot wear these any longer. it has got to the point where my feet are that sore they are even sore throughout my weekend with comfy trainers on! This is not what I expect from an £80 shoe

I love these loafers. I had been looking for years for loafers that were stylish AND comfortable for my wide feet. These shoes were a tiny bit tight at the beginning and when I first tried them on in the shop, but they are now like slippers! The quality of the leather / overall make is great and the sole is a bit thick which means they are great for walking. There's a bit of a heel which is also good at making me taller (I normally wear ballet shoes for comfort, but since finding this style, I wear the ballets a lot less!) I am looking at getting a second pair!

I m so glad that I bought these shoes before I read the reviews that said they were hard and uncomfortable. I m a nurse and managed to wear them all day on their first wear.

As ever with Clarks, these are really comfortable (with padding at the heel) whilst looking super smart so can be dressed up for work or casual. Definitely recommend.

Love love love these loafers. The patent leather is so beautiful and elevates what is generally a plain shoe. I love them with dresses and jeans. Just the right amount of chunk! Sizing is spot on. I am usually a UK 6 and got a 6.5 purely because I like to have more room in the toes. A 6 would've fitted me however. They are not heavy to wear at all.

There seem to be two 5.5 wide sizes from Clark’s. Some fit me perfectly, the others are too narrow to even try to put on. Unfortunately, these were the narrower version. Well made, sturdy looking, but if Clark’s Hope Roxanne is your preferred fit, these are not for you.
