Leather Biker Block Heel Boots

Though these boots looked lovely I was disappointed with them. They had no side zips so had to be pulled on. Luckily I have a good back but for anybody who lacks flexibility they could have been challenging to get on and off. I had made the mistake of thinking these boots compared well with a similar pair I had bought from M&S about 11 years ago and am still wearing after all this time (well, on dry days anyway!). I could not have been more wrong. As well as the lack of zips, I found these new ones ‘heavy’ to wear. At £89 I did not think them expensive but neither were they cheap so imagine my further disappointment when I saw that the inside stitching at the back of the heel was coming undone - after only 3 wears of approximately an hour at a time. I also noticed that the sole on one of them seemed to be developing a ‘hole’ right at the front. This leads me to believe that they have been made with inferior materials and poor quality workmanship which is not my usual experience of M&S products (I’ve been a good customer for over 45 years). Bearing in mind the foregoing, I decided to return the boots and am now waiting for a full refund.

I purchased these boots two weeks ago because I like the nice soft leather. I think they are good quality for the money. The downside for me is that they are tough to get on quickly as you need to make sure that your foot is lined up I would suggest that a zip is put in.
