Great fit….lightweight for packing purposes. Toured France, Germany and Switzerland. Especially great on slippery stones at the Marksburg Castle. Shoes allowed excellent grip of cobblestones and uneven surfaces. Great support.

This is the best hiking boot I ever owned , my 2 nd pair the first pair lasted 12 years and I’m a dog walker. They are still waterproof after all those years. I have many issues with my feet and had NO pain when I wore these boots.the best part is they were not too wide as I have narrow feet. The medium worked for me.i thank Merrell for making a boot for women's feet.

I thought this Merrell walking boot was just what I wanted. Although they are wide fitting I could tell, as soon as I put them on, that one was going to be uncomfortable due to a bunion. I was disappointed that I had to return them.

From hiking through a handful of rivers, snow, mud, loose rock, and steep inclines/declines, for the past 6 years with semi infrequent use, I'm finally noticing the soreness in the balls of my feet. Super reliable pair of first hiking boots. Definitely planning on purchasing a replacement once my preferred style comes back in my size.

Took these with me hiking around the Columbia Gorge. They were perfect. Warm and waterproof and not too stiff.

I took these boots hiking through waterfalls and rocky trails in Iceland, and they were incredible. They handled slippery, uneven terrain like a champ—great grip, waterproofing that actually works, and surprisingly comfortable for long hikes. My feet stayed warm and dry even when crossing shallow streams and walking in constant mist. Highly recommend for anyone looking for reliable boots for rugged, wet adventures.

Have been trying to buy suitable walking boots for an icy environment for a while now, with limited success until I came across these on the M&S site. Exactly what I was looking for & very, very comfortable. Easy to walk in, no clunky edges to trip on, big thumbs up from me!

Only have worn them once so far but they are out of the box comfortable. Plan to use fir walking/ hiking inEurope.

very happy with these -- my 3rd pair. OK on my back support plus the gore-tex I like. BUT they were soaking yesterday in the rain. My pants went over them but still were wet. mystery.
