jo73c Maybe too stretchy? Maybe too stretchy? These fit well when I first put them on, but within an hour or so had stretched out and become quite baggy and loose. I had previously tried on the size smaller (14) in store and could only just get them done up, so decided to go with a 16, which have gone massive after not much wear. Is there a bigger difference than expected between sizes, or should I have gone with the ones that seemed too small and somehow known how much they would relax? Who knows. What I have is a pair of jeans that look great for the first hour after they’ve come out of the wash.

Btheninja What have you done? These were my go to jeans. I have had three pairs, the last two in dark indigo. I ordered another pair as the last pair had worn away. They have arrived and are completely different. They feel thinner, they are lighter in colour and have a cut hem instead of a finished one. What a complete and butter pain. Will be returned and the hunt for a good pair of comfortable jeans begins again.

Anya F Comfortable but does sag around the knee I tried on numerous pairs of jeans in M&S, and these fit the best, however after a couple of wears, they are already sagging around the knee, something I was trying to avoid. When freshly washed, this is less of an issue, and these jeans have a great stretch and hugging of the buttocks and thighs.

JoG Jeans I don’t really like high waisted jeans / trousers at all, they look frumpy but based on the reviews thought I would give them a try. They come up over my waist and rib cage, not a good look! The crotch hung down no matter how much I pulled them up. My usual size 8 were teeney and couldn’t get them over my knees. The 10 was a very strange fit. No surprise that I sent them back!
