Pure cotton briefs
Yes, I recommend this
Well made, fit well and my husband thinks they're comfortable to wear (he's tall and wears them on the hips).

Always used this style of briefs and they are as expected - comfortable, a good fit and previous experience shows they are durable.

Very comfortable, I much prefer 'Y' fronts over other designs. Also, very good value for money.

Dull and boring
No, I don't recommend this
I have to agree with some of the other reviewers these y-fronts are pretty dull & boring. M&S are the only guys left doing own-brand y-fronts. Other shops sell Jockey which are only available in a white or a blue pack which is also a little dull. Come on M&S you do contrast trim (T146710S) and bright patterns (T146709S) in keyhole briefs so why not in y-fronts. Keyhole briefs and no more trendy than y-fronts. I'm 55 and grew up in the 70s and 80s where y-fronts came in paisley, plain with contrasting trim and bold coloured vertical stripes so why not raid your design archives and produce some fun pants for a change. My wife buys two packs for me at Christmas and two packs for my birthday. It would be nice to get something a bit different but she can only buy what's available.

Dull yfronts
Yes, I recommend this
I always look forward to new collection on classic yfronts and hope for a bit more brighter colours and patterns but yet again these are quite boring . The fit has changed over last couple of years to a more fashion fit . So where once I wore size small I now have to buy medium and no it’s not because I’ve got bigger as I still have the old size small which are more roomy than today’s mediums . So please M&S let’s have more exciting colours and patterns like in boxerbrief and trunk wearers get and also we yfront wearers do prefer a fuller fit and higher waist

Ouch
No, I don't recommend this
M&S offer two types of brief. One has the seam at the back. The other (as with these) has a huge seam at the side. It is a wad of tightly sewn cotton that digs into your skin because if the position and poor design. It's a shame because they would be nice, good value pants otherwise.

Poorly made and fit

Disappointed with the fir, elastic waistband digs into you even they are the right size, threads hanging off. I certainly would not recommend these.

These are just the same as the last navy/red 3 pack. So dull... Bring us something different. High waisted please! Fed up with waiting for M&S to do something new.
