Linen Floral A-Line Skirt

I usually find M&S skirts and trousers are too wide in the waist if they fit my hips, so I end up with a gap. But this skirt is cut to fit a more hourglass shape (despite being in my 60's) and therefore more flattering. The material is light and summery, with a very pretty pattern that goes with lots of different coloured tops. My only slight niggle, hence the 4/5 for style, is that the bottom of the slanted pockets is slightly thick, so I think it makes my hips look a bit larger than they really are. However my sister in law disagrees with me and says it looks fine! Best M&S skirt for style, pattern and material I've seen for a long time!

I don’t usually go for floral things, but fancied a change. Fits well, a bit shorter than I would like, but I’m tall so that’s not surprising.

The floral print and colours of this skirt are very nice. I plan to wear it with tops in khaki green or various shades of pink, Size 8 had a 26" waistband, so I'd say it fits true to the size guide. I'm 5'7" and the length fit exactly as shown on the model, I wish the skirt was lined as it's see-through in sunlight, so I'll need to wear it with a half slip, but that's my only complaint with what is otherwise a very nice skirt.

Lovely, pretty skirt but much longer than I expected but will be easy to shorten, a grandaughter asking me already if she can do it. Reviews gave me the impression it was tight so I went up a size but I’m sure my normal size would have been fine.
