Fossil Jacqueline Analogue Quartz Watch

It feels cheap and flimsy, it's lightweight but not in a positive way, the cz isn't set well and will just fall out in daily use, the packaging is uninspiring and generic which belies the previously high quality aesthetic of the brand. I absolutely would not recommend this particular model. I'd be embarrassed to give it as a gift too. I'm really disappointed with this as I have had pieces from this brand previously and they've been brilliant.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My watch arrived today, I was a little worried it had got lost and had been receiving prompts to write my reviews and couldn’t, so almost took the posties hand off when it came today! Initially I was a little disappointed, as the metal box had been damaged in transit and the lid wouldn’t fit back on, but luckily the watch is in tact and extremely pretty. I was really hoping I’d be picked to test this particular watch as I love the look of it, and it doesn’t disappoint. Stainless steel with diamontes all around the bezel and the bridge of the strap also. The face is very clean looking, with Roman numerals which I think adds to the sophistication of the overall design. I do have a watch from another brand with a similar look, but what I prefer about this Fossil watch is it is so light weight and comfortable on the wrist! I find there’s a fine balance with the weight of a watch... if it’s too light it feels flimsy, but if it’s too heavy it twists on hour wrist and really isn’t very comfortable. Fossil have got it just right with this one. The closure is smooth, efficient and looks great also. I love the design of the links, they’re not a standard metal link, and remind me very much of a very high level, luxury brand that I often drool at in the jewellers window. It is a fairly large face, whilst remaining elegant and feminine, and feel it would be ideal for any occasion. My only negative is that I don’t feel the packaging matches the feel of the watch, it’s a small orange, metal box (I haven’t uploaded a photo as it was damaged) and it looks as if it may have some kind of kids or sports watch in it, but in no way has that affected my experience of the watch overall. I will wear this watch every day for the period of testing, but so far, so good!

Its a little on the large side so thinking I need to take the watch to a jeweller to get the links taken out properly. The face is quite large so ideal for me, the face on the watch is really clear, it's got bling around the edge of the watch face, which I love, the bracelet, the first 3 links have got bling on, then it goes onto a plain linked bracelet. . I have fossil purse and bag, so I know its going to be a good quality blingy watch, just right for me. Yes I recommend, great brand to invest in. Guess who won't be getting this watch back..

It's just beautiful to look at and very sparkly with all the stones. the shiny silver strap and face gleam when you wear it and it really complements my wrist. I don't really have anything quite as beautiful as this watch and it makes me feel special and very feminine when I wear it. It's lightweight despite the size (being slightly larger than the type of women's watch I would normally wear) and comfortable. The strap is smooth and cool (and super sparkly) and doesn't pinch or trap arm hair!! The face is clear and a pleasant colour and the hands are delicate but very functional. I think I prefer Roman numerals as opposed to numbers as they look a bit more classy. The addition of a date window is really useful too. When it comes to setting the time and date it's a very simple affair and the dial at the side of the watch is easy to adjust and noiseless. All in all I would not hesitate to recommend Fossil watches to anyone looking to make a purchase. They are expensive but the quality shows in the watch, you definitely get what you pay for! Thanks to the Insiders for letting me take part in this trial, it's been very nice to wear the watch on a daily basis and has been admired by many people so far!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My watch arrive on Saturday I wasn't expecting it so was a nice surprise. The watch was much prettier than expected. It arrived in a cute tin which hid my precious watch Its Silver metal case and wrist strap, with tiny crystals round the face and part way down the strap. They sparkled as the light caught it, just the right amount of Bling but not gaudy. It has a clear white face with silver Roman numerals. It is and elegant but fun watch which you could wear any time or occasion. The time was correct but the date was not, first challenge I usually ask someone to set the watch's date and time but I manage to do this myself with the help of the instruction manual,which required a magnifying glass as the writing was very small. .The little window for the date is very small but I can manage to see it in the right light. The strap is easy to remove for replacing which my son assures me is a great idea. The strap is very comfortable to wear and I love how the watch looks on my wrist. This is officially my favourite watch.
