Cotton Blend Striped Long Sleeve Shirt

Good fabric mix cotton/polyester - it should not need ironing. Nice colour, a navy mix - the navy tinged with lavender. I got it because of the pleated sleeve head, (there is something Tudor about the sleeves). When it arrived I noticed the pleats were stitched, low maintenance in terms of ironing. I also like the back with the deep yoke and the contrasting stripes of the cuffs, yoke and collar. Collar is a nice cut. The 2 button cuff can be worn turned back, and pushed up to 3/4 length. I think the pocket on the front is too large, but can live with it.

Good basic staple and it washed well and easy to iron.

This shirt looks appealing online, but I was very disappointed even before I tried it on. The cotton was too thin for a crisp blouse. The neck was far too large. The pocket on the left hand side is large and droops - it needs a central button to help it to sit cleanly without the droop. The blouse has already been returned to store locally. I have items from M&S that I purchased years ago and can still wear , but more recently items are less satisfying and less well made.

I like the shirt as it can also be used as a tunic. It is extremely comfortable and the slightly puffed sleeves balance out the hips making one look slimmer. The quality of the cotton is excellent.

Love it lovely fabric great with jeans .I could have went down one size. Wish m&s would bring more boot cut Jean's to go with it
