Tweez Not as soft as I hoped… I bought this in light mauve and it fits the bed perfectly ( I chose deep) however, it’s not as soft as I thought it would be, which is mainly why I chose this over a high thread count cotton. I would say this sheet is smooth, but not soft. It definitely helps keep you cooler, but that wasn’t the reason I bought it. I washed it before using too and I hope it softens more as it’s washed. I think it’s overpriced. I have high thread count cotton sheets (200 and 300) which are far softer.

The sheet NEVER an arrived after two phone calls M&S agreed to send to a store near work for me to pick up, which I did. This was NOT really convenient for me the whole reason I ordered online was to have them delivered.!!! So for online shopping and delivery a big fat ZERO!!!

EllieMalik It’s cool but 30cm mattress needs extra deep sheet The sheet feels lovely, soft and silky without being slippery. Washed well and back on the bed with hardly a crease (minimal tumble dry after line drying). Interestingly, I do find it more comfortable - slightly cooler - than my cotton sheets so if nighttime heat is an issue (especially for peri and menopausal heat) this is definitely worth a try. I seem to wake in the night feeling hot and sweaty less often than with cotton sheets which is lovely! One star deducted because the listing said the deep fitted sheet was suitable for mattresses up to 30cm. My mattress, plus topper, measures 30cm. The sheet does just fit but one corner does have a tendency to come untucked which is a pain. It might be because my mattress topper can slip around a bit on top of the mattress. Next time I’ll buy the extra deep version (38cm depth sheet) which would give more material to tuck under the mattress and hold the sheet in place. I’d ask M&S to change the description to say the deep version is suitable for mattresses up to 28cm and to buy the extra deep version for deeper mattresses.
