You get 2 blocks with 0-5 on them so you can't do a countdown, I got sent a replacement thinking this might be a one off but it came exactly the same as the original. Reading these other reviews more people have had this issue. Doesn't work for countdown, wouldn't recommend.

Bought has an advent calendar. Numbers don't work to have a countdown. Bit expensive just for a decoration. Some of the lights are on back of tree so no benefit as they are very tiny. No negative comments when I ordered.
