The secret is out: Pixi has launched a full retinol skincare regime to complement the existing bestselling tonic

I’ve been using Pixi Retinol Tonic since it landed on my desk a year ago and can safely say that the benefits of using retinol in my skincare are endless, including smoother, brighter, younger-looking skin. So I was keen to try the four new products in the collection. The creamy cleanser is an easy addition to my routine; gentle and effective at removing make-up with radiant results. I was suspicious of the eye cream at first as the skin around our eyes is so delicate and retinol is known to be powerful, but this formula is sensitive and soothing, as it smooths and refines. The superstar product in the line-up has to be the Overnight Oil. At bedtime, I warm a few drops in my hands, then I press the silky oil onto my skin, to restore plumpness and improve fine lies by morning. Before lights out, I layer the lotion on top of the oil – this lightweight, fresh formula also works well under make-up during the day. Six weeks later, my pores have shrunk, dark spots are less visible, and my skin feels ultra-smooth. The jasmine ingredient also deserves recognition for its nourishing and brightening effects.
