Button Detailed Shirt

I took the advice of other reviewers and went down a size and purchased a size 12 and still had ample room in garment. The blouse is quite long in length so another thing to take into consideration for shorter ladies. I am 5ft 4ins and with heels happy to wear it. Beautiful rich emerald green and not a crease in sight even after being packed in a suitcase and left overnight for a weekend away. Quality rich satin look fabric. My only disappointment is the white buttons which cheapen the look and I will replace.

Mixed reviews on here, but I bought this blouse yesterday and think it’s lovely. The colour is beautiful. What I find annoying about m and s blouses is that in many, the collars won’t allow you to wear the blouse with a few buttons undone - you end up with an odd looking collar. This one has been made to wear effortlessly. Yes, it is on the large side, but that’s the look. My only gripe is the buttons - a bit boring for the shimmer of the blouse.

The material was inferior

Love this shirt but size 10 was huge. Ordered size 8;and it’s a much better fit.

Green is my favourite colour and this shirt looks elegant on and the fabric hangs well. My one criticism is that it would have looked better with self-coloured buttons rather than with stark white buttons. I have changed the buttons on my shirt.

The colour of this top is beautiful and I love the soft fabric which hangs well and shows little tendency to crease. The length is perfect too. However the neckline is strange, more like a pyjama top or an overall than a blouse. Sadly returned.

I love this blouse, it’s a gorgeous rich colour and fits me perfectly, I’m very pleased.

I ordered this blouse before there were any reviews. I could see it was "relaxed" ergo large so I bought it in a 14 and a 16 expecting to have to return one size. Unfortunately both were huge and rather shapeless. As one of the other reviewers mentioned there was too much material in odd places - under the arms for instance. I thought about ordering it in a 12 but didn't bother as the discount I had had by then expired. On the plus side the colour is lovely.

I sent for this blouse because I liked the colour and style The material is lovely and soft and not too heavy The fit is just right and the length perfect I only gave the fit a good as after seeing the length of the sleeves on the model I was expecting them to be longer and they are only just long enough on me I will keep the blouse because I love the colour It’s a great blouse

A beautiful blouse, but had to return, came out rather large

I love this blouse but have to agree with the previous review it is a tad on the large size!! After reading this I order a size smaller than I would normally and it fits pretty well. The length is not too long on me, which I prefer, (I'm 5'7) and it will look good worn out with smart black trouser or jeans and boots. Very pleased, but be warned you will need to buy a size smaller than usual, but I'm not complaining! Lovely blouse, would recommend, beautiful colour.

Looked forward to this shirt since I like to wear this shade of green. I originally ordered it in size 16, since I have two other Autograph shirts in 16 that I love wearing slightly large over slim trousers. However this style looked far too big, so I ordered a 14 because I liked the colour even though I felt the fabric was not as good as that of my other shirts. It was a good fit.It arrived inside the black delivery bag without any other wrapping so it was quite crumpled, but even so I could see that the finish of the shirt was not so good on the collar and the front placket, where there was a little puckering. I returned both sizes.

I ordered this before anyone had reviewed it. Lovely soft silky fabric, hardly creased on delivery, and a beautiful colour, though much more jade than sea green, and very stylish. However there is relaxed fit and then there is a tent. I had already sized down one size, but what came was still far too big. I would have liked to be able to tuck it in, but there was a great deal of excess fabric especially under the arms and round the waist. Shoulders were fine, as were sleeves, with neat cuffs. Such a shame, so it has had to go back. And now I have no idea which size to reorder, and won't get free postage this time (I had ordered with other items) so probably won't bother, which is a pity. This seems to be a general trend with M&S shirts, down one size even for regular fit. I don't like to order multiple sizes. So pick your size carefully ladies...
