School shirts come with extras

So shocked to see M&S still using so much plastic - bags, collars, button covers etc. Totally unnecessary, it serves no purpose. I complained about this two years ago and literally nothing has changed, which seems utterly baffling when so many other retailers have got rid of all plastic. I can’t see how this can possibly align with any of their sustainability policies never mind the wording they have the nerve to actually include on the packaging. So disappointing, won’t purchase again.

Anyone ordering size 2-3 years the top button is an actual button fastening not an easy fasten velcro closing as stated. I ordered twice based on advise from live chat assuring me that they should be easy fastening as stated and returned both. I finally visited a store where they agreed after looking that the shirts wasn't as stated and the description is misleading. I have since ordered 3-4 years which are as the description, a little big but will be ok. Shame as I love M&S school shirts.

Not the right shirt for pre-teens/young teens
The material is see through, enough so that the bra can be seen. (Most school shirts are, I know.) There are no darts for size 12-13, which means the shirt gapes at the bust. Young teen girls are very self-conscious about their bodies, so this shirt is a no go for this age bracket. It was, however, sewn well.
