Bought in the sale or otherwise would have returned it as one of the chrome spikey things near the top had broken. Managed to conceal it by rearranging the others.

Lovely looking lamp but not M&S quality

I bought this lamp a week ago online, it was delivered quickly and appeared to have been handled with care, plenty of ‘fragile’ writing on the box. Unfortunately once opened it was clear that the detailing towards the top of the lamp was not secure. It seems like the detailing is soldered in place but on the lamp I received it had came apart. I rang M&S and with no fuss they arranged for a replacement to be sent to me which was appreciated. Unfortunately the replacement has arrived today and it has exactly the same issue, seeing several other reviews of the same problem it appears to be a fault across the range rather than a one off as I’d hoped. Poorly made and very disappointed as it is a really stylish lamp and would look great.

Purchased for my mother. The lamp came damaged. The "detailing" around the top part of the lamp was damaged. One piece of metal had come away , and another was loose .. It looks as if those bits are soldered into place ... Very poorly made and not worth the asking price. Returned for a refund.
