Ch. Mauregard is a really decent lower-priced claret that might fool some palates into believing it's produced by a more venerated estate.

Disappointed in this wine in as much as I hoped it could be a wine to drink on it's own, but I certainly would not. It requires, as it states on the label to be drunk with food and with food it is quite acceptable however I am not one to always want wine with my food especially calf's liver and gammey types.
