Shape and fit of skirt is great but it is a completely different material to the “matching” waistcoat which is frustrating. Currently playing a game of snap buying every size 12 I can to find a proper match. Not great

This is a simple skirt in a very good way. Fabric looks cool just like linen should but is half viscose so doesn't crease much. Slim and neat elasticated waistband, and swirls nicely due to the bias cut. Very pleased with my purchase. Good value. Would like to see it in navy.

Bought it as a holiday/summer skirt. Reminiscent of a skirt I had years ago and wore until it was threadbare, so absolutely thrilled to find a replacement. The elasticated, drawstring waistband is comfortable and useful for an expanding holiday waistline. Its a lovely neutral colour and will be easy to dress up, or wear more casually.

This skirt is lovely! Not sure why other reviewers are concerned about the slits - they’re minimal (just to give easier movement). The skirt is comfortable and the petite size fits perfectly, length-wise. Would recommend sizing down. This skirt will get a ton of use this summer!

I wasn’t expecting the side split as wasn’t in the original description or picture but notice it’s now been updated. I really like it, makes it feel a bit lighter for summer. I’m 5’7” and chose regular length, great maxi length on me. It’s a nice slim fit and as it’s long and fits really well, it’s slimming on.

Nice skirt ruined with side splits
Thought I'd finally found a classic black skirt. Ordered it online. The fabric was a little thiner than I was ecpecting but a nice flattering fit. I then looked down and realised that it unfortunately has side splits which were totally unexpected as they were not mentioned in the description - these ruin the skirt.

Disappointing skirt

Just like the other reviewers, I was disappointed to find this skirt had a split at each side which is the principal reason it is being returned. I ordered the Long and at 5'9" this was a maxi skirt length on me - the splits themselves came right the way up to my knees which gave too much exposure for me sadly. The fabric was lightweight and not the best quality linen but probably ok for the summer? The skirt has a tie waist which was good for some flexibility in sizing but, although it did fit well in my usual size, overall it felt a little skimpy.. I continue my quest for the perfect long black linen skirt!

This skirt sadly has splits on both sides, something the description fails to mention. The skirt would be much better without them, sadly returning.
