Beef had good flavour. After reading other reviews I decided to seat both sides in a hot heavy bottomed pan with a little rapeseed oil to stop it sticking. Then into a hot oven 200C for 35 mins. Left to rest and cool in its own juices and then put in the fridge for a couple of hours. Perfect thinly sliced cold (medium rare) with summer salads and jacket potatoes. Did not like or use the salsa verde at all- sorry!

Tasty piece of roast

First time we had a marinated roast. The light smoke gave it a unique taste. I roasted it medium rare. Very good. The shape and texture reminded me, what the Americans call Tri-Tip.

Bought on offer and it proved to be great value - easily enough for four people. Delicate smokey taste, not overpowering and the beef itself was tender. I cooked it for the recommended time for medium but I would say it was definitely still rare - not a problem for us but those who don’t want to see blood need to add at least another 5 minutes.

We had not tried smoked beef before and were delighted with this. Tender, flavourful easy to carve beef which we couldn’t fault. We do not like salsa verde so didn’t add the sachet but the meat was excellent

Can you please change the weight size online as the ones that were ordered that came into store were 800g boxes, NOT 1200g as stated on the description of the product

We ordered two packs for a family bbq. Both were cooked to the instructions provided, however we were disappointed to note that whilst one was as expected, the other was sadly lacking, being overly chewy and not a pleasant experience to eat. Quality control needs to be consistent across this product.

We followed the instructions, but felt it was a little over cooked and tough/chewy. I have one more in the freezer and I will definitely be cooking it for about 7-10 minutes less next time. Did not like the Salsa Verde personally.
