Nice comfy shorts, so pleased they have some stretch in (1% elastane) as so many brands seem to only do 100% cotton shorts these days. One thing to note with these is they run at least a size big. I have the boyfriend jeans in a size 10 and they're a good fit, but the shorts in 10 were huge. I sized down to 8 and even then they are on the roomy side, but I decided to stick with them as didn't want them too tight on the bum/leg. Worn them a few times now and very comfy so glad I stuck with the 8.

Summer shorts
Quite heavy fabric but have washed well so that's a plus. Decent fit - once I went down a size. Biggest whinge is that the hems are not properly finished and would have been liable unroll had I not stitched them in place. Okay for the money as I bought them in the sale - would not have been impressed had I paid full price.

Nice shorts but definitely on the big side Didn’t bother me as I was going somewhere very hot so better to be loose and I’m old so best things aren’t too tight , mutton and all that. Got the pink flattering colour

Loved them so much I bought a second pair in a different colour. I'm a size 12 with a thick waist and large tummy , I often have to buy a 14 to do the button up . These fitted me perfectly in a 12 .

Love these shorts - they are soft and comfortable and while they are a generous sizing - this helps them sit better. I first bought a light denium pair online - then went into the store tried on a few other colours (which are very pretty) but ended up with a white pair (you cant really go wrong with white). Just a classic go to pair of summer shorts- a staple. When you find a cut and style that you are comfortable with then its worth getting a second pair.

I saw a friend wearing these shorts and thought how good they looked. She told me they were M&S so I ordered online. I found size 12 were much too big and I needed size 10. I’d go for smaller size if you aren’t sure. I think these are good quality and stylish and I am pleased with my purchase.

Fit nicely
The shorts fit nicely. They come up big. I usually buy size 10 but got 8. They are quite thick denim. I bought the dark denim and the white.

I purchased these last year in my usual size but I just can’t wear them, being too big everywhere even the crotch hangs too low. This year I have repurchased in a size smaller and they are far better. Pity about the weather!

I normally wear an M&S 8 but the 8’s are slightly too big and the 6 too small. I have stuck with the 8 but have to wear a belt. They also do not seem as well made as previous versions I have and could do with being slightly longer in length.
