after various attempts to buy M & S trousers this pair actually fitted i normally buy a size 44 waist but have tried on various jeans and trousers that are either at least 2" to big around the waist so big that you could get you fist in between the trousers and the waist to being too small distance between button on one side and the button hole on the other side up to 4" to small tried some active waist but they all come up to small even with the waste stretched to it fullest at that point if you breath in and hold your waist in they just fit all these trousers claim to be 44" waist. although I like the range of trousers at M & S I have now found at least the same quality and size that fit at Cotton Traders so brought a range of colours and styles from them
