Great for hot weather

I bought these to keep me cool during recent hot weather, as I heard modal is good for wicking sweat. I noticed a difference compared to cotton underwear even when exercising. They are a flattering shape too, only reason for not giving 5 stars is they tend to ride up on the cheeks

Practical Knickers

As I was scheduled to go into hospital for a planned operation as a man my "normal" silk and lace knickers would raise some questions so I purchased these in black as the are neither silky, lacy or have bows on them. They are however knickers and as I only wear knickers these were fine. They are comfortable and are fine for daily wear when having medical appointments.

When I first wore these I thought they were so cool, as in temperature rather than fashion. A really lightweight fabric and very cool compared with my usual underwear. They are really comfortable if a little on the large size. I've just bought some more, a size smaller.

They’ve changed the tightness of the top band

I’ve been buying these in a size 10 for years. Bought a few packs recently and on all of them the top band was tighter than it used to be giving slight ‘muffin top’… not the best look..and I know what you’re thinking - no it’s not me- I’ve not changed and my hip measurement is 34 inches which is way under what the average 38inch hip of the size 10. As I bought two packs and both affected I assume it’s a change they made and not a fault? So had to take them back and get the size up- which the top band is now fine… but the rest of it… is really too big for me. I’ll probably have to throw these soon as they’ll only get worse the more they are worn/washed. I’m really disappointed as M&S is really the only place I would buy things like this from. I explained to the sales person when exchanging them that something is not right about them since they should not be that tight on the top band, but they didn’t seem to want to listen and put them back out for resale…

Quality not what it used to be
So far after the fist wash one pair has completely come apart at the leg seem. I shall see how the other four pairs respond. It might just be a rogue pair. But the thickness and quality of the cotton modal is not what it was.

Too tight
I have brought exactly the same ones before which I was very happy with. This time it seems like they may of put the wrong size on the label as very tight. I am going to give M&S a call to report this.

Higher cut than before
