Denim Belted Midi Shirt Dress

lovely dress didnt suit me would suit a taller lady

Saw this dress on Lorraine last week and it is beautiful. At last M&S have come up with a dress that is suitable for an older smart lady. Fits perfectly with a length that is not too long, I am 5'4 and this dress is calf length. So pleased with it. Hope that the new designers will cater for the smart older women, it has been a long time coming. Congratulations.

Lovely dress - black denim so makes a nice change. All my similar M&S denim dresses fit very well ( same size) but this is cut a bit smaller and is quite close on the bodice and sleeves. I will order a larger size. Apart from the fit I am very pleased with this dress.

Nice to see a different denim dress. The frill detail on neck and cuffs with dainty buttons sets this dress above the standard denim dress.

I really like the style of this dress, the material is good and not stiff like some denim dresses. It can be dressed up or down, so will be a useful edition to my wardrobe. It will be too warm to wear during the summer but will be fine for the rest of the year. I would have given it 5 stars had it been made in a petite size. Normally , I wouldn't have purchased something that had to be shortened but I liked this dress so much I just had to buy it.

I bought this as I loved the look of it on the model but I found the waist too high for me which did nothing for me so sadly returned.

I found this dress comes up very small across the chest.i always wear a size 10 but this was really tight so I ordered in a 12 and it still pulled so sadly had to return.

Real like this dress. Looks lovely with trainers or ankle boots. Nice soft jeanscfabric. Good cut too.

This is a lovely , well made , flattering dress . It is true to size and doesn’t flap around my ankles like some M&S dresses do (I am 5’2”) . The material is good quality and should wash well, perhaps softening over time as a denim jacket does . My only reservation is that it is quite heavy for the upcoming spring/summer months , it might have been nice in a tencel material like the similar style blouse and with shorter sleeves . However a lovely dress for cooler days.

I bought 2 denim dresses from M&S last year ,I love both but this one is definitely the best . Lovely frill detail at neck and cuffs , great length and good fit. I am wearing with tan boots at the minute but will wear with trainers in the spring .I advise you to buy now before it's out of stock .
