Hotel Soft Cotton 13.5 Tog All Seasons Duvet
€ 95 - € 135
Product code: T356586D
This three-in-one duvet is the perfect choice for an all year round duvet. Choose either a 4.5 tog for warmer weather, a 9 tog when autumn comes, or you can add them together to make a 13.5 tog duvet for the coldest nights. The cover is crafted from pure soft cotton.
The tog rating refers to the effectiveness of the duvet to retain heat – the higher the tog, the warmer you will be when you're snuggled beneath it. Our All Season duvets can be used all year round, with a lighter tog for the summer, a heavier tog for the inbetween months, or join them together to be warm all winter.

Good value

Good value for money but as with the reviews of other ‘all-season’ duvets, none of the studs lined up; most inconvenient.

Great duvet - light weight but comfy and warm too

Bought this duvet to replace our old duvet and much prefer it - appears good quality and so comfy and warm but lightweight too. Ideal whatever the weather.

Poor quality

No, I don't recommend this
I was really disappointed with the quality of the cotton cover. The weight of the quilt was very light and both parts of the quilts were very thin. In my assessment they did not make a 13.5 tog and separately they were very thin and poor quality.

Comfortable but press studs do not align
Originally posted on marksandspencer.com (UK)
The duvets seem well made, and the cotton covers are much nicer than polyester ones. They are not noisy in use. Annoyingly, the corner press studs do not align properly with their counterparts. An extra press stud on each long side would be beneficial (as long as they were correctly positioned to 'match' each other!).

Disappointed- comes apart regularly

Bought this for my daughter. The duvet is warm and what was needed however a big downside is the overly simple design which really lets it down. As you would expect the 2 duvets clip together with poppers to make the warmest duvet but why would there only be one popper in each corner? This means it’s often coming apart at one end making for an uneven and annoying sleep. There should be poppers all along the edges not just one per corner. If I’d have known I’d have bought elsewhere . I can’t return it as we have had to use it and as I’m recovering from an operation i can’t leave the house. Will have to find a way to stabilise it properly but could have done without the annoyance and extra work involved. Is it a way to cut costs at the factory? I bought from M&S due the associated implications of good quality but this is sadly below their usual standards.

I love everything I buy from M&S the only reason I sent this back was that I just upgraded to a double bed but realised it would not be big enough but I have a king now and very very happy

flexible use, multi season duvet

Quality item and flexibility of tog/thickness for my son who is starting at Sussex university. All season use with the 4,5 and 9 tog for solo use or attached together. (poppers in the corners fine, maybe side ones would make insertion to the duvet cover easier, but certainly no deal breaker)

I’d searched forever to find duvets with pure cotton covers. Polyester or mixed always give me static shock when changing the covers! It’s so difficult to find 100%cotton covers and then usually crazy expensive. I’d seen these but held off and got them at sale price which I think is reasonable. Very good quality and feel great. Not sure about connecting them (we only ever use one at a time so I’m not too fussed if they don’t connect well). Highly recommend if looking for 100% cotton cover.

Disappointing

Very very disappointing, the two part duvet - should have been 4.5 tog and 9 tog, arrived without the 9tog. Thankfully customer services are in the process of sorting, however very disappointing

Super toasty duvet

Loving my new super toasty duvet and wished I had bought it last Autumn. It’s very functional -consisting of 2 interconnecting duvets. Hoping I’ll be able to move to the lighter weight duvet if the weather ever gets warmer.

3-1 Duvet

Good idea to have a 3-1 duvet but the design is poor. There’s one press stud in each corner, could do with 4 more one on each of the sides to keep it all in place.

This is an excellent product, but more poppers securing the two duvets would be an improvement.

Poppers thrown on blindfolded
Originally posted on marksandspencer.com (UK)
No, I don't recommend this
The cotton cover has a lovely feel as does the quilt itself and if it were a complete 13.5 Tog duvet then the score would be higher, but it isn’t, and that’s the problem, because there are only four poppers in each corner of the two duvets instead of a more practical 6 or, preferably 8. I also use the description “corner” loosely because the poppers appear to have been slapped on in some kind of haphazard, random fashion and don’t line up, whether this is a mechanical problem, fatigue setting in after 14 hours in a windowless, Victorian style sweatshop or simply a lack of care towards the customer, it is not good enough. If you are going to sell a product the it designed to combine as one it should come together as one with both parts lining up! Great idea really poorly or carelessly executed. Expect better from you M&S!
