We needed a new light for the dining area in our new kitchen. We had been looking at lots of different lights when we spotted this in the sale. We ordered it and are so pleased that we did. It looks fabulous, its a little bit quirky with the different shaped shades and looks great with some filament bulbs in. Lots of compliments over the Christmas season.

I would have given five out of five stars but found three of the glass shades to be dirty and one to have two chips on the edge of the shade. Due to needing the light to be fitted the week the light arrived, we did not have time to return the light and order a replacement.

We’ve recently decorated our dining room and were looking for lights. The dining room and living room are separated by an archway and In the dining room, we also have the stairs which are open, in that they are separated from the dining room only by a bannister. We were looking for lights that would look good from the living room looking into the dining room, the dining room itself and from the stairs. These lights definitely fit the bill. The shades were bigger than I was expecting and they definitely deliver a wow factor. Be careful when you get bulbs for this. Ours were too long so we got some shorter ones. You need to look for something that is around the 6-7cm height mark. Something else I’d suggest is to invest in a pair of cotton gloves (the kind you get to put on your hands for moisturising overnight will be good and aren’t expensive). We didn’t think about it and had fingerprints all over the shades. I had some of these gloves, so we took the shades down, cleaned them and wore the gloves to put them back up. Result. They are gleaming and look great in their new home. In case you’re wondering about the cord lengths, they were too long for us, so we removed the clips inside, shortened them all by the same amount and re-clipped with cable ties. I think that would invalidate their warranty though so think about it before you do that. Now they’re the perfect length and we’re still enjoying looking at them.
