PETITE Linen Rich Shift Dress

Brought the light colour - way too see through for a linen dress. Everyone is right about the armpit gap - too big and bra visible.

Unfortunately the armholes are very low cut, so shows your bra. Had to return.

Material poor not like previous linen dresses I have purchased and sizing is small therefore I returned this one.

About the armholes, gaping and huge, this ruined a lovely quality linen dress. It was returned unfortunately because I dislike revealing my bra and contents to all...the fit was fine apart from this awful 'design fault'. Would have purchased in different colours as well if it hadn't have been because of the overlong and wide armholes.

This dress was a bad fit and I returned it immediately.

Great length and style. Linen quality good tho easily creases,overall a good fit tho armholes a little on the big side. I would personally have liked a lining but do appreciate it is designed for hot weather.

I really loved this dress when I picked it up. It was smart and yet comfortable. I tried it on in the shop and was dismayed because the armpits were huge! It showed a large amount of my bra and I found that embarrassing. I was sooo disappointed because the cut and material were excellent but there was no way I could have worn it like that. I wish M & S would try their dresses on real people and check these minor points before stocking them.

Very nice comfy dress but I found the pale natural colour a little see through so therefore returned it. It would be ok with an underskirt. Sizing is spot on and it was well made.

I ordered this dress in a size 12 Petite in the navy and a size 10 in the beige. The size 10 fitted perfectly so I ordered the navy dress in a size 10, when it arrived its was shorter and smaller than the size 10 beige so I sent it back and kept the size 12 navy one, a little disappointed as it is a bit larger than I ideally wanted. Loved the dress though , very light to wear on a warm summers day or for holiday casual dress.

I ordered this online for store collection along with a printed linen shift dress that I was very pleased with. On trying this one on, I couldn't have been more disappointed. The material is thin and feels of bad quality, with no substance to it and looked like a rag immediately. The armholes are ridiculously huge (who is designing these?) and showed a lot of bra. It would have been indecent to wear without a bra too as they gaped so much and with the material being so flimsy. It might have looked a bit better in navy, but I had chosen the light blue. The colour wouldn't have saved it from being returned though due to the cut. The dress was a complete disaster as far as I was concerned and it was returned immediately.

Nice dress unfortunately hung like a sack on me

Bought this for summer, fabric nice and good length but small fitting, neck too high did try it backwards as there is a V back but no.. even at a sale price returned.
