Linen Blend Striped Straight Leg Trousers

The fabric was not a good enough quality.

I’m a 20 and ordered the 18 long Good length and I’m 5’7” Good fit and comfy, but pattern felt to pyjama like for me. Shame as they were a good fit and would be useful casual summer trousers Back they go I’m afraid.

Ok trousers, but not if your waist is small compared to your hips

I ordered these trousers online so judged my decision to buy based on the picture and written description but unfortunately the reality did not match my expectation. Not the fault of the trousers, of course, but I have found that trousers which finish at the ankle simply do not suit me and just look too short! This would have been enough reason to return them but another contributing factor, and why I have given only three stars for the review, and also why I would not recommend this garment to a friend is that the 'linen blend' material was so scratchy and uncomfortable that I could not imagine wearing the trousers for any length of time. I have returned the trousers for a refund.

Ordered these on a whim at reduced price. Would not normally choose this style, but glad I did so. The fabric has a summer look but is not flimsy, the linen makes for comfortable wearing and the trousers look smart with a cream blouse or top. The tie waist adds interest and the fabric is not scratching against the skin.

I liked the trousers but unfortunately they were about 2 ins too long. Have the same trousers in black which are fine. M&S sizing not reliable these days. Returned.

Lovely comfy trousers. Sizing a bit on the big side in the tummy area.

Looked nice on Website but they were not what I was expecting as I found the material really thick and heavy and not really suitable for hot weather, so returned.

I ordered the 'standard' length. This is not what I call 'standard'. Very disappointed, as while I have waited for delivery they have sold out of the 'long' length - which I never usually have to buy. So although I really, really like these trousers (apart from big tie front which I would have removed) - they will have to go back being just that bit too short. If you like 'ankle grazers' (which i don’t) them you maybe won't mind the length. Good material, seems a little heavyweight but it’s not when wearing. Not very creased at all straight out of the bag - unlike some cheaper versions I bought elsewhere.

Bought for an upcoming holiday, lovely material and fit, am normally a size 10/12 but bought the 14 after reading reviews and are a lovely fit,also bought in the long length as i dont like feeling as if trousers are short and lovely length to wear with flats, i am 5.5 foot so should give an idea on lengths.

Loved the style and colours but the fit was all wrong, they were big and one leg didn't sit right, the belt made the waist too bulgy but could have been removed if the rest had been right.

Unexpectedly delighted with these! They are well tailored. The fabric is thicker than envisaged, but it hangs very well and does help to avoid the dreaded VPL - very reassuring. The waist is elasticated at the back. Worth noting that the belt is sewn on at the sides, so not removable. They were true to size for length and hips and just fit on the waist. They fasten with 2 x wide metal hooks and an inside button - wish it was just with a normal button. How could they be improved? A little elastic to the fabric would be good.

I have long legs but Long was unavailable in store. I tried on the Regular length and presumed that by buying the Long length online would provide a good fit. How wrong.. they appeared to be even shorter than the Regular length and didn’t even graze my ankles! Very disappointed.

Not for me I’m afraid the material was itchy and scratchy next to my skin . Absolutely awful fit for me . Sorry but have gone back
