These shoes seem to be good quality and comfortable for my daughter, as well as good value for money. The reason for four stars not five stars: the range of sizes isn’t enough, my daughter was size 6 infant when she started school and M&S only do school shoes from size 8, even these size 8s are a bit big on her. Also the shoes for younger school girls are all t-bar or Mary Jane style. She’ll get soaking wet feet when playing football or jumping in puddles. Kids are kids, so let’s have some more styles for girls with a closed off foot so they’re adventure ready!

Initially thought these shoes looked great and robust… 1 day wear (6 hours at school) and my daughter comes home and they’re badly scuffed and peeling! Leather shouldn’t peel. I’d normally put it down to own fault but I will be returning after seeing other reviews with the same issue after 1 day wear.

Fit perfectly. I bought in a 9.5 for my grandaughter. She has only been in school for 3 days so can't really comment on how well they will wear. I ordered a similar Clarks shoe but the fit was too clumpy for a 3 year old. The school insists on non patent shoes, so this was an important factor.

This is the second pair of this shoe my granddaughter has had as her feet grow, she loves them. Consistently good quality, comfortable and smart. I’m sure they will be as hard wearing as the previous pair.

Bought for summer term as my daughters outgrown her lelli Kelly’s. Initially thought they was really nice, soft and comfy but when I picked her up from school after wearing them for 6 hours they was full of scuffs. Her lelli Kelly’s didn’t scuff once from September-April. I did take them back into store and they gave me a refund straight away so I can’t fault the customer service.

Great design and really good quality. Good fit and the velcro fastening makes it easier for the smaller ones! They polish up beautifully and last well. Granddaughter loves them and it’s the second pair she’s had!
