They are a bit baggy. The tongue keeps bending and not straight, protruding through the laces. I’m not very impressed with them. My son doesn’t complain from them being uncomfortable though

I usually buy M&S uniform only but chanced these shoes. I am a Clarks lover and I can honestly say I was very surprised at the quality of these trainers, stylish and really well made. Will be buying again for the next school year

Failed Velcro rip tape after 3 months

At first they were great, but as others have said, the rip tape failed within 3 months. The velcro has torn off the strap and they're not working. Very disappointing given the last two pairs of M&S School shoes lasted the whole school year for my son. In addition, when you go to call M&S product quality Customer services about this (only a phone number available), they tell you to go into a store for them to judge whether this is worthy of a refund. Given I purchased online, it's not convenient to go to a store - there aren't many left these days! It seems very archaic not to be able to deal with this over an online chat or even email!! Not at all customer-centric service unfortunately.
