I have bought these a few times now. My son will only have Velcro straps so my choice is limited. We usually get a term (about 3 months) out of them before they have to be replaced. Size is fine but just don’t last long enough.

Bought these in September 2025 and the top of the shoes have gone patchy and are peeling. They have been looked after and not used for any sports. The quality is not fit for purpose. The lining in the shoes is also crumbling. I have had to replace them January 2026.

These are good on the outside but it is a shame that the insole is so bad quality. It got ripped and separated from the shoes within 3 months. We can even see the pink and green filler underneath the insole This is not just a pair of shoes, it is a M&S pair of shoes but it is reall bad quality..

Started disintegrating after only a few weeks of school. This is the second time I have purchased these shoes, more fool me! The first pair literally fell apart after a couple of months with the thin "leather" layer peeling off the top and the sole peeling away, and I assumed I had just been unlucky with a dodgy pair. However, these latest ones are now disintegrating from the inside outwards! Absolutely dreadful, cheap quality. Don't be fooled by the relatively reasonable price - it's completely false economy! Avoid

They quickly started showing signs of wear on the insoles and now after wearing for 6 weeks at school only the upper coating is peeling and they look shabby all over. We will return them to store as not fiy for purpose.

All good so far with this school shoes. We normally buy from Clarks but our local store closed down so ordered these. Look very similar, good quality leather but half the price of Clarks. If they last then I’ll be buying all my school shoes from M&S now
