So glad to be able to get good quality school shoes with Velcro fastening in older children’s sizes. I get these shoes time after time for my son, they take the daily wear and tear and only need replacing when he outgrows them.

Shoes were nice but sole literally fell off after a week at school! It was exchanged due to the time but a bit worrying. Always got M&S shoes for kids but it seems quality has dropped

These are an extremely sturdy pair of shoes, so sturdy in fact that it is impossible to feel where your little ones toes reach to in the shoe. We went through several sizes before finding a pair that we think fit. Hopefully the sturdiness of them means that they will not split and will survive the elements through a winter of walking to school. Time will tell.

I find M&S schools good value for money. These shoes are robust and weather well. It’s good there is a Velcro option in this size as my son has dyspraxia and struggles with laces.

Lovely sturdy but up to date leather school shoe . Looks very much like a branded trainer type shoe . Apparently comfortable and they are also cuff proof which is a bonus . Bought the 6.5 which was perfect .
