Not a patch on the cotton/lycra slips with the wider elasticated waistband (these have a puckered cotton waistband with elastic threaded through. I'd been buying the previous design for years, despite them not generally being stocked in-store. Why change a classis well-liked product?

I ordered these for my husband thinking they were the same as previous pants in this style but sadly he says they are smaller in size and the waist band is uncomfortable and sits lower. Not a great purchase this time.
