These look great and are sturdy - a perfect Christmas present for my friends daughter:)

Such cute shoes but as the other reviews say, the zips do not stay up! My daughter wore these twice and fell out of them while walking and we were constantly stopping to zip them back up. Obviously a design flaw. Returned to the store no problem.

Not great for running

The trainers look great and are really attractive! However, the zippers on both sides make them uncomfortable. My child has trouble walking and running because the zippers tend to unzip, which affects their ability to move freely.

My daughter fell in love with these trainers…problem was both zips on each shoe would not stay up. She wore them for a day out and we spent half the day putting her shoes back on! Such a shame, it would just take a little strap to keep the zips up.

The boot looks great and fits well. Again, masisve issue with the zips. Both zips falling down after about 2 minutes of walking. Makes a fun ahopping trip not so fun. Such a shame. Can only give 2 stars as really no point wearing them.

My 4 year old granddaughter was absolutely thrilled with these boots which are a good fit. Unfortunately as mentioned in other reviews the side zips, of which there are 4, took turns to unzip and her foot actually slipped out at the park. I told her that had to be returned and she was extremely upset. So I got 2 pink shoelaces, threaded them through the tab at the back then through the eyes of the zips and tie them in a bow once zipped up. Problem resolved - M&S can I patent it!

Risk of falling over

Look great but totally impracticable & dangerous. Both zips came down when running causing my daughter to twist her ankle & fall over & graze her knee. Complete waste of money for us.

My daughter was so excited to get these however they were sadly a big disappointment. The zips come down constantly and after removing them after wearing just once my daughter had what looks like friction burns across both shins

Birthday present

I bought these for my granddaughter's 5th birthday and she loves them. I thought the zips might be a problem but as there are 2 on each shoe, they are easy to get on. Very sparkly and look fab on.

Lovely shoes! Really helpful to get on my daughters quirky, yet beautiful feet, it’s nice to be able to give her a choice of shoe as she normally wears splints. She was very excited to get them on and had lots of compliments on them already. The glitter like most things does shed a bit.

The twin zip is a design feature that sadly fails as both zips come down as you wear the trainer. I have to rezip up the 4 zios every few steps making them not fit for purpose.

My daughter loves these boots they look lovely, are a great fit and are also soft and comfy BUT and it’s a big BUT they aren’t practical as the side zips constantly come undone which means the boots slip off!! Such a shame and very frustrating!!!

My child wears orthotics so having zips either side is a god send. The elastic laces are too tight so we have changed all the laces in our boots so the width can be adjusted. No issues with zips with any of them and we have probably 6 different pairs

I got these boots for my daughter who has Cerebral Palsy. They’re are extremely supportive for her ankles and we’ve had no issues with the zips as I saw in some other reviews. She loves how sparkly they are :)

Gorgeous boots, but zips won't stay up
Originally posted on marksandspencer.com (UK)
Absolutely gorgeous high tops, really nice design and my 4 year old daughter absolutely loves them..... but the zips won't stay up. I can't return, because she won't take them off (except 53 times a day when she steps out of them!) Fantastic in every other way, just not fit for purpose.

Lovely shoes however, useless to wear as the zips don’t stay up.

Look good but....
They would have got a 1 star only for my little girl absolutely loved them. I would have returned only for her. The ankle gap is too small so the zips don't pull up enough. They keep opening and one fell off while we were walking across a car park. They look beautiful but the design falls sort in practice.

Lovely to look at but…..
Originally posted on marksandspencer.com (UK)
These boots are lovely to look at but unfortunately didn’t fit too well. Also, my Grandaughter…age 10…struggled to zip them up and the the raised ankle section at the back of the boot was uncomfy. The problem with the zip was that the zip lining did not lay flat. This prevented the zip itself…not pulling up smoothly but kept sticking on the zip teeth. Such a shame!
