Black Aluminium 16cm Non-Stick Saucepan

I don't understand some of the reviews of this product. We bought this to use on our induction hob and find that it is not suitable and does not work.

This pan is the perfect size for making smaller portions or sides such as beans, and works well on the hob not taking up much space when cooking multiple things at a time. However I absolutely can not get over the smell of the handle. It wasn't noticeable at first as it doesn't give off a smell, but rather leaves one on my hands every time I use it, and is so strong it lingers past washing my hands after cleaning up, even after 2 or 3 washes. I've never had this issue with any other pan or pot with similar handles before and I can't get over it. I now use gloves or a towel when I use it which is a bit of a faff on which works fine, but I won't be taking the risk with buying any other M&S pans because of it.

Good value for money, easy to hand wash. Recently had a new induction hob and this pan works perfectly. Just the size I was looking for as there are plenty of 18 cm and 20 cm pans around but hardly any 16 cm so this one is great.

Great, non stick pot. Easy to clean. No scratches when we use sponge.

Cheap for a reason. Lot of poorly-finished elements. Very light. Ridiculously deep saucepan. I’ve had this problem with numerous pans: I’ve bought nine saucepans and returned seven of them, all because the diameter to depth ratio is so odd. I suspect that more high-capacity pans are being made with smaller diameters in order to match the size of “rings” on induction hobs, but to reach their volume requirements, they are extremely deep. M&S have much better quality items on sale, and I’d suggest that you pay the extra for better materials, better build quality and better design. If budget doesn’t all that, buy cheaper than this for equal or better quality from a supermarket.

I bought this as it is advertised as working on induction hob, It doesn’t !

Very pleased with this product. Durable and brilliant rapid heat on my hob, they also look stunning.

On,y used once so far, very pleased with it, good to handle, useful to have pouring lip both sides

Bought this for a student - she very pleased with it as it’s nice and deep. Relatively short handle too unlike some saucepans that have very long handle so hopefully easier to store. Now to order the 20 cm one as she pleased with this one. Tempted to buy one for myself too.

Love the depth of the pan. Will be buying a larger one to match.
