Stainless Steel 20cm Frying Pan

A good range of well designed pans. They feel well balanced when lifted & are a good weight. The copper layer sandwiched between the stainless steel of the base makes them very efficient to conduct heat so that high cooking temperatures are not really needed after the initial heating up of the pan. In fact heat conduction is so efficient that if you use high temperatures the contents will burn. It's good to be able to use them as an oven pan if. They are easy to clean,simply soak in warm water & scour gently. I have the lidded saute pan as well. They are a great pan for the price ( even better with 20% off) They have the feel,look and performance of more expensive pans. I am delighted with mine.

Bought 20” size for omlettes but disappointed that very difficult to remove and place on a plate once cooked. I am very good at cooking omlettes but ended up looking like scrambled eggs! Not very happy with it really, I’ll have to get a non stick one eventually but I didn’t want to as not sure of the lining of those products that’s why I chose stainless steel. Quite easy to wash once soaked with hot water and washing up liquid. I dont know what I’m doing wrong with it but luckily it was on offer so not too bad. Doesnt look as smart as it did and only used it twice. Washed by hand.

The pan arrived with a dent in the rim. This was disappointing but does not affect the function of the pan so I did not send back. A bit more care on final inspection is required.

Good weight and size. Cooks evenly, sears well, and cleans easily.

I bought a 20cm Tom Kerridge stainless steel frying pan as I wanted it for omelettes. It’s a nice looking pan but it doesn’t clean up as well as other stainless steel pans I have. After cooking, I put water in it to loosen any bits, which come off, but the metal has marks that do not come off - is it to do with my gas hob? It says not to use harsh cleaners; like Brillo pads? I confess in the end I did use a Brillo pad as gently as possible, on the edges of the pan . It brought the metal back to silver.
