Our much-anticipated 2026 Christmas advert showcases the very best of our food, partywear, decorations, gifting and homeware for the festive season.

It celebrates the magic of Christmas by starring the festive season's ultimate VIP – Father Christmas.

Played by celebrated actor James Norton, known for his roles in Happy Valley, Grantchester and House of Guinness, alongside Amandaland star Lucy Punch as Mrs Claus, it reveals the man behind the beard as he decides to switch up his look and shave it off.

Realising that he's now unrecognisable, Father Christmas decides to experience what the festive season is really like.

He travels to the real world and discovers a concert where children sing with opera superstar, Katherine Jenkins (plus experiences his first taste of M&S party food) and is then invited to a family dinner party, where a M&S Christmas feast is served.

Finally, he stumbles across a Marks & Spencer store, emblazoned with lights as 'The Home of Christmas'.

He returns to the North Pole laden with bags, where Mrs Claus reveals that she's been shopping at M&S for years, presenting him with some delicious party food.
