Fit well around the waist, just a bit loose around the thighs. Would have preferred a non pleated but went with what was available.

These shorts are as described, the picture is also accurate. They are good quality, cotton, tailored shorts, (no turn up) with a flattering pleat at the front, the pockets two front and two back are all nice and deep. My husband is 5" 7in and the shorts came above the knee as in the picture.
