How to get the size right when buying underwear

Before you start shopping, you need to work out the right size to buy.

Bra sizes comprise of two measurements: the band size (a number, for example 38) and the cup size (a letter or double letter, for example DD). Take note of both. Bralettes and knickers are usually in clothing sizes (for example 14) but might be XS, S, M, L, XL etc.

If she has a fuller figure, look for uplifting plunge bras, underwired bras and full-cup bras. Retro-chic balcony bras, lace bralettes or a flirty demi-cup bra are ideal for small to medium-sized busts.
