Velvet Pencil Pleat Thermal Curtains

Lovely curtains; can definitely notice the thermal element!

Lovely curtains. Need ironing on the reverse between the lining and the back of the curtain as the iron leaves marks if pressed on the front. They hang beautifully and although they are fairly light they seem to keep the room warm.

The curtains are light in weight but definitely blackout and thermal. Ochre colour looks in room great but they do show up the creases from packaging which haven’t disappeared after hanging them.

Great curtains, split to use as door curtains. Complete the room nicely.

Bought these to revive a spare bedroom that had previously been used for storage. The curtains are a perfect fit, are a good weight with the thermal linings, and look classy, so I'm very pleased.

super quality velvet curtains - just what i wanted, My parents have them in Navy and i've gone for the yellow ones, they hang beautifully and lined for warmth and blackout they are great on a doorway or window

Marks and Spencers is one of my favourite stores as they usually sell high quality, well made products. They also have excellent customer service. As my first choice of ulltra-thermal curtains (with excellent reviews) in the champagne colour were sold out, I thought I would try these curtains as they state they are thermal. Unfortunately, these curtains are very thin. However, there are some good points too: Good points: Lovely soft and silky feel to the curtains. Perfect for summer curtains due to how light-weight they are. I bought the neutral shade and it is almost like a light champagne, so I was pleased with the colour. I bought extra wide and they pleat beautifully. Machine washable. Not so good points: These curtains are thin. They are not very thermal at all. They also crease easily because of the thinness of the material. I have bought blackout and thermal curtain linings for them which might help bulk up the material for winter. Like I said M&S is one of my favourite stores but these curtains were only average (for what I needed them for - thermal properties). If you want sleek, silky bedroom curtains which add a touch of elegance these are great. If you want the thermal properties then these are perhaps not the best choice for that. Three stars because I thought they would be warmer but if you don't really need thermal they are beautiful.

Lovely curtains and good value however I have given 4 stars as I have not had much success in ironing out the creases even though I used a steam iron on the reverse side as instructed.
