Tweed Checked Knee Length Dress

A beautiful classy dress. Very reluctantly had to return as it was too small on the bust, I’m a definite 12 but I’m hoping a 14 will fit. If not, I’m going to keep it and lose a bit of weight up top. If you want it,buy it, I highly recommend it . Buy the next size up. I very rarely rave over a dress but there’s something about this one . I am buying the pink one as well. Hopefully M&S will produce more along these lines as I’d like to buy more from them. They haven’t had much in the fashion range . Too boring.

Very well put together. Clever little internal buttons stop the dress bagging open at the bust and hips. Very nice fabric, a good smart dress for work. I bought the blue as the green was out of stock in my size which was a shame.

Too short picture gave impression longer

Sadly it was nearly 4” above my knees! So I had to return it. It was a lovely fit, material & lining were both warm & very comfortable. It was just very very short & if they could lengthen this dress by 4 “ I would certainly buy it again. Such a shame as I really loved this dress.

I’m 5’5 and a size 18 and 29. I sized up as I wanted this dress for work (formal office). It’s most definitely a mini dress, it fits above mid thigh. The fabric isn’t lined and a touch see through from holes. Also no zip only the buttons. This means if you’re curvy like me it bunches at the thighs. I considered keeping it as an evening dress but realistically for the price it’s not worth it. It’s too short for me to consider wearing in an office. I just don’t see this fitting well on many of my thick thighs ladies.

I LOVE this dress. It comes up small so I normally take 16 it fits snug and looks nice but it also looked in great in size 18 so I have bought 2 in blue in a 16 and 18 and one in green in size 18. Stunning dress, my favourite. I LOVE all the tweeds that Marks and Spencer do so I buy all their tweed clothing the minute it is launched. Total classics and so Chanel, its amazing. Brilliant dress, well done to the designer and buyers!

Nice dress for the office apart from the buttons. They are very old fashioned so changed them straight away. Material is a little thin but has inner lining so saves the dress and the need to wear a chemise. The length is just above the knee (height 5’7”). Fit is slightly small but listened to advice and bought the size above.

I loved this dress as soon as I saw it online. I looked at the reviews and they were all positive except some reviews said it was a little on the small size so order a size larger. I am a standard size 12 but, on the above advice, I ordered a 14. Big mistake - it was too big and now the size 12 is out of stock. Such a shame as it really is a lovely dress and so smart. Had to return it and was extremely sorry to do so.

I was one of the lucky ones who managed to buy this dress in my size before M&S sold out! I feel really nice in this and enjoy wearing it. It’s darker than it appears online but this hasn’t deterred me.
