They feel a bit rough

No, I don't recommend this
The rough feel makes me think I wouldn't like wearing these in hot weather. Other than that they seem fine - baggy, scruffy style. However, in the absence of 'extra long' I had to order 'long', but I was sent 'regular'... so obviously I'm returning them as they're too short :(

Great fitting trousers in a weighty material which hangs well. Love the slightly tapered hem which for me makes the wide leg look just right. Downsized to size 12 (usual 14) and regular length which is perfect. ( I am 5’ 5”)

Lovely colour, will team up with t-shirts or blouses. For me more a casual look rather than formal. Came up a little big for me, bulky and big around the waist area. Usually a size 12 but exchanged for a 10.Well made and good quality material.

Style and comfort are equally important to me. I have several pairs of m&s trousers similar to these. The fabric and shape are really nice but the waistline on these is smaller and less flexible so not as comfortable unfortunately so will be returning.
