Striped Swing Beach Dress

Bought this dress a while ago but only wore it for the first time today. Love the feel of the fabric and the colour. The shape is flattering. Went for a size 12 (normally I'm a 10) as I prefer the shirring not too tight. BUT the major design fault with this dress is the pompom hem line. As I walked to work this morning the pompoms kept wrapping around each other. Depending on how the wind catches the bottom of the dress you can end up with the pompoms between your legs tangled up. Not a good look! I ended up having to stop numerous times to untangle them. A nuisance and also embarrassing. I can't imagine that I'm the only one this has happened to. So the first job of the day was cutting off every single pompom. I still like the dress though.

I ordered this dress as it had great reviews and they aren't wrong. Sadly I just felt the style and fabric were too young for me. Great quality though.

Perfect for a summer holiday Loving the detail at the bottom and the cord. Because of the elasticated top- it can easily be worn as a strapless dress with the straps tucked in. Will very much enjoy this dress especially if England gives us a decent summer!

The dress was very poor I would expect better quality Material for marks and spencer it was like a dress I would have brought in a cheaper shop

Wanted to get this online with 20% off but my size was out of stock so I was really happy to find this in my nearest store and liked it enough to pay full price. I know I will get lots of wear out of this on holidays, probably for years to come and at home in nice weather. I will probably wear it with some silver flip flops or a pair of white converse. I love Pom-poms so this is a winner for me....it give it a sense of fun.

Love this denim look stripe sundress. Not only is it comfortable to wear it looks good too. My size was out of stock online so ordered bigger size. Had to return it and the lovely assistant at Princes Street, Edinburgh went out of her way to find my size at another store. Picked it up at my local M&S Food outlet the very next day. Excellent customer service, which is sadly lacking these days in other shops.

Love this dress as I like how it fits me and I feel very comfortable in it. Great summer find. Very pretty. Does need an iron though before wearing.

Thought at the price I could not go wrong and I was right. Colour, style all as in the picture suited me. Wore in the Caribbean and it travelled well in spite of being creased on unpacking it soon fell into correct style and it was fun to wear. I might add I am no spring chicken!

Have to say it was love at first sight with this dress; I particularly like the shirred bodice and the quirky pompom trims. The detachable straps are a useful feature also. Sizewise, the bodice runs a tad tight, but not uncomfortably so. Really glad I bought this early, as most of the sizes now seem to be sold out online. Overall very pleased with this item.

This dress was a perfect fit, excellent quality, and great value. I look forward to wearing it when we get a summer!
