Striped Pencil Mini Skirt

I bought this skirt in a size 20 even though I am a size 12, because it is just what I was after, with a view to wearing it now without tights and then through to winter as well. I am actually quite good with a sewing machine. I have taken the side seams in and it is now perfect. The skirt is beautifully made and I would have paid the full price if my size had been available, but I only paid £3 which is great !

Got this in sale so a bargain! Can't normally find skirts to fit me as have very small hips! Perfect fit and have several tops and jumpers which go very well.

I really like M&S especially the suits, which I would highly recommend, not just for the great value but the style. I would always purchase a size 8 in a skirt and have done for many years and they fit perfectly, although this particular skirt was so small I couldn't get it on. It seemed to be the only size left on the website when I purchased it, so it wasn't like I could have bought another size as it was in the sale. I had to return the skirt for a full refund and I was very disappointed as I really liked it.

Lovely skirt which is lined light and easy to wear. Amazing value for £15.00!!!! It comes in two lengths I could only get the 12 in mini but you need great legs as its short so I sent it back and ordered the 14 in the longer length which is perfect - I also have the jacket which i love - the suit is really fantastic value for money

I ordered this in the 'long', as M&S describe this as a 'pencil mini skirt'. I went with the long length mini skirt size description (21ins), but it arrived as the long length pencil skirt size (27ins) i.e. too long for me at 5ft3in. Nice fit otherwise, lined, and quality is fine for £15. Returning, and ordering the regular length pencil skirt now.

Very disappointed with this skirt it is poorly made and the lining seems to be stitched wrong so that the skirt doesn’t hang righ around the split as it is pulled by the lining. Used to but all my workwear from M and S but this season the clothes feel thin and cheap. Where have the decent good value suits gone?

I bought this as I’ve lost s considerable amount of weight & needed new work gear. It’s a little snug in the waist but I’m still losing weight so want to grow into it. Love how it’s fits elsewhere.

This skirt looks great on the model and great hanging on the rail in the shop. Sadly, it did not look great on me, so I will be returning it. However, I would recommend the skirt. It is a lovely fabric, style and very good value for money.
