Cotton Rich Straight Leg Trousers with Linen

Waited for ages to see these trousers available in my size, unfortunately were a bit tight around the waist and too short in the leg . A shame as I have the matching blazer. Returned

The trousers were meant to be regular fit - but they were too short. I have never ordered 'long' before, but that is clearly what I would have needed. I am 5ft 3in. Need I say more? To be honest, once I had tried them on, I didn't really notice anything much e.g. value for money, quality of material, because I was so disappointed.

putting on these trousers was like getting into wood - they were stiff and did not mould or hang well - very disappointing

I loved the look of these trousers, although only just long enough. They fitted nicely around the hips but the size 10 I ordered was too tight around the waist and there was no give in the waistband. Reluctantly, I had to return. Great if you are slender but on my mature figure the waistband pushed up the slightest additional roll of fat which ruined the look.

If you like ankle grazers then fine. I wanted trousers !!

wide legs made me feel like a sailor.

Very small and short.Also very unpractical as dry clean only.you would only be able to wear once or twice before needing cleaning .

Trousers fitted OK around the hips but too short for a 'regular' size which I usually buy, therefore were sent back the same day. The material felt rough and in my opinion certainly not worth £55. I've bought much better trousers elsewhere at half the price or less.

Because of the problems I have previously had with M & S sizes, I bought a size 12 and 14 both reg length. I am a size 12 and the 12 fit perfectly (for once)! I liked the colour and thought they were good quality. However for a spring/summer trouser they were very heavy and so were returned.

The fit was okay. I didn`t like the coarse-looking two tone weave of the fabric which is a bit heavy looking for summer. Not for me unfortunately as I am looking for a crisp cotton or a linen pair of straight leg pale beige or green lightweight summer trousers. Not pegs, not cigs, not jeggings, not 7/8th, not tapered, not grazers, not skinny, not leggings, not harem, not cropped just a standard cool pair of summer trousers!
