Stormwear™ Lightweight Padded Coat (3-16 Yrs)

I purchased 2 of these for my daughters aged 10 & 8, I ordered 10-11 & 8-9 coats were very thin and came up very big on both of them, unfortunately I returned for a refund as I didn’t feel was value for money and they didn’t look particularly great when on either. Was quite disappointed to be honest as M&S normally have excellent clothing ranges for children but I wanted something that would keep my girls warm and that actually looked nice on, the belt would easily have got lost also and didn’t really seem to suit the style of the coat. I wasn’t going to take the chance of them being warmer than they looked as had they of not kept them warm I wouldn’t have been able to return, possibly would have been ok for late summer early autumn when it’s not to chilly but in my eyes not a winter coat at all.

Poor quality for Marks, especially the belt ! limp and tatty, padding was thin, the only reason I haven't returned it is, my Grand Daughter does not feel the cold, but would definitely recommend it to a friend.

I bought it for my daughters. It is lightweightand but warm, can easly be worn over their school blazers. The girls loved it.

I was looking at this for granddaughter they was sold out of her size kept checking daily and lucky me one came back in stock in her size the coat is lovely good length nice style and was glad I got it I got no hesitation on how it will wash as got a m&s stormwear jacket myself and washes up lovely..the only thing I would say is I wished the belt was attached to coat as young girls have tendency to lose belts but only a minor as can stitch it to secure myself ..lovely deep pockets all round good quality coat at a good price
