True to size and washes well, comes up softer than I expected.

Smart shorts, decent length, pockets. I have bought the same shorts over the last couple of years. These are made of cheaper, coarse fabric. Last year's shorts had a shirred waist , soft , flowy fabric and had more material in the design. By comparison, these have a drawstring waist, are not as generous, and overall a cheaper alternative. M and S, please listen. I understand you are trying to keep prices competitive, but customers return as we like the products and quality. These shorts are ok but nothing like last year
