Shift Mini Dress

I bought this for my daughter in law who is pregnant. She loved it.

Sounds funny, but when we talk about body shapes - they generally relate to fruit. Well, for me - I am more egg shaped :) Legs are okay but round in the middle and bust has me looking like an egg!! Great fit for me as its shaped slightly like a bell and therefore loose around my middle. My new absolute favourite dress. I have just logged on to get another for work and all sizes in dark blue are unavailable. Such a shame. The fabric is fantastic and silky and wears very well - no creases!!

Had to send it back, didn't fit well, the fabric was not what I was expecting, too hot for Summer.

Very unusual for me to write a bad review on any M&S clothes but this dress was awful. It fitted so badly I am a normal size 10 but this was huge on me. I didn’t like the feel of the material and not good value for money either.

Love this. Bought as a bundle of 5 dress of similar style and colour and this is a keeper. A touch big in the chest and I’m not the flattest of ladies so maybe size down if you are looking for a neater fit. I am keeping because I think when the weather turns I’ll be pairing mine with a bretón strip top and wearing as a pinafore (need to try this out first but just a suggestion). Bit pricey in comparison to the others in my bundle but I think it is worth it for material, fit and overall garment appearance.

I’m a size 14 & 5ft 8 & this dress sits on the knee at the front and dips at the back. Very comfortable to wear, love the pockets & great shade of dark green. The material is nice but it does mark easily, first time on and I dropped something which left a small mark.....tried to remove it & it just went bigger......however, I’ve washed it & it’s come up great. Versatile....dress it up or down.

Lovely dress, good fit except the v neck is a different length at each side so it doesn’t sit right. You get lob sided effect. This is the 2nd I have sent for but both gone back. Tried a few on in store still the same problem. Where is your quality control.? Such a shame, lovely dress, super colour but bad detail on the v neck.

Am wearing this dress as I type a review about it. It fits well, is good quality material and is comfortable. Haven’t washed it yet however. So far, am happy with my purchase

I have broad shoulders but this dress was a very odd shape! It slid off my shoulders and gazed at the back, whilst managing to be a bit too snug around the bosom. The fabric is also quite stiff and doesn’t drape well. It went back by return.

Gorgeous colour and loving the pockets! Really looking forward to wearing it on holiday. It does however get very creased but I’m thinking it will drop out after hanging at my destination. Would love a black version too.
