Pure Cotton Striped Bedding Set

Loving this delicately striped duvet cover. The cotton was not as soft as I expected but hopefully with some more washing it will soften up. It is slightly larger than a king size I would say in between a king and super king, but it does look lovely on the bed which is why I kept it.

After one day this cover has ripped. The top layer is very thin muslin over a plain white cotton cover. This layer ripped when my dog, who is neither large or sharp clawed, jumped onto the bed and ran to me. This has literally never happened before. To charge £79 for a plain white cover with a thin, insubstantial single layer is outrageous but, sadly, increasingly common with Marks’ goods. The days are gone when M&S could be relied on for good, well made items. This cover is a perfect example of that.

Laundered for the third time and the button strip is hanging off! Material is cheap and the cover is stretched out of shape, buttonholes are too big and buttons slip out. I cannot believe that Marks would foist this on customers at such an exorbitant price.

Lovely and soft Good quality and wish I could buy another one

I’ve had my eye on this for sometime having seen it in a store. Really pleased with it. Very soft, simple and fresh.

The cotton quality of this bed linen is poor. It does not keep a good shape after washing and is a nightmare to iron; which it definitely needs to try and get some shape back into it. The seams do not match up so the plain reverse side ends up showing along the top of the duvet cover by approx 3-4cm. Overall, I could not recommend this product.
