Pure Cotton Broderie Detail Strappy Chemise

I thought this was a thin cotton lawn type material but is more of a jersey fabric. It’s a bit thicker than I wanted for the warm nights so I am returning.

Lovely soft and comfortable cotton. Slightly gaping under the arms, resolved with a needle and cotton. Good length for me. So far has washed well.

Although I am normally a size 10, I ordered a size 12 as I wanted a loose fit. This was perfect! Lovely Broderie anglais on the front and the shoulder straps can adjust depending on how loose or tight you want it to be. Really soft and comfortable to wear to bed, well worth the money you won't be disappointed.

Purchased online and arrived screwed up in postage bag....not folded and not inside a plastic protective bag. Poor quality, very thin t-shirt type material and see through. Didn't bother even trying it on, took back to store for refund

This nightdress is very comfortable although if you like a looser fit then order the next size up. I was expecting it to be in a finer cotton and think the product description should read that this is in fact made from a lightweight cotton jersey fabric. That being said it washes exremely well and is very comfortable to wear. I will probably be ordering another one!

Ordered on line in a size 12, M&S sizes vary but this was fine for me. A very pretty design, soft fabric but it was rather too transparent for my liking. Four years ago I bought the same style chemise, in blue in the ‘cool comfort ‘ fabric. It was called a nighty then. It has washed and warn so well that it is still in use today. Please bring back the cool comfort cotton fabric, it is the by far the best for warm summers. The Jersey type blends although soft don’t have that light crisp cotton feel. I returned this white chemise.

Lovely soft cool and comfortable for summer. Perfect length and pretty broderie design at the top with adjustable straps. Good strong crisp white; feminine style.
