Pure Brushed Cotton Fitted Sheet

I love this brushed cotton fitted sheet. I was hoping to also get the silver grey but was too late.

Lovely and soft, fits well. But does have a cream tinge, maybe the natural cotton? So it isn’t brilliant white but I don’t really notice now it’s on the bed.

I liked this so much I immediately bought another one. They are very soft and perfect for the winter months. Actually, I like them so much I might try them out throughout the year. They wash well and, for fussy people like me, they do need to be ironed. Others might disagree. My only grip is that the pillowcases do not come in all the colours just grey and white. I bought the biscuit colour so could not buy coordinating pillowcases. I think they are also good value for money.

I was disappointed by the poor quality of the brushed cotton material. It is thin - I can see through it easily when I hold it up to the light. This is not the case with some other brushed cotton sheets which I have been using (and washing!) for about three years which were bought from another well known department store (JL for short!). They are still thick, not see-through and both sides of the cotton brushed. This M and S brushed cotton is brushed only on one side! I have never come across that before! Although I have now used and washed this new M and S ‘brushed’ cotton bedding I am going to take it back to show them the poor quality and show them how it compares with my ‘old’ JL bedding. Come on Marks and Spencer you can do better than this! Over the years I have bought lots of bedding from you and the quality has always been good if not excellent!

Disappointed. Says fits up to10" mattress but it rides up on 9" one. Also it is not white but cream
