Polka Dot Fit & Flare Dress

The dress was baggy in the lower back area which spoiled the look. From the front it looked good but on balance I decided to return it. It might be my shape so give it a go!

Lovely dress ( from the front) . Very stylish , fit well, ideal length just on the knee. Quality material . Looked great until I saw the back! Had a ridiculous split back which would look great on a 20 something but this dress is styled for a mature lady so looked ridiculous! Really disappointed as loved the dress other than this crazy styling! M&S take more please! When I returned the dress the assistant suggested I could have stitched the back up! Would have preferred you to have done this in the first place! Item returned.

Nice cut and shape. Cheap material and cheap finish. Fits well but not something I would buy if I’d not been shopping on line. Poor value even at sale price. I can buy much better quality dress in the supermarket

As with other reviewers this dress is a great disappointment. I bought it for a funeral as I didn't want a block black dress and felt the spots would do the trick I liked the top half and the feel of the material, I didn't mind the slightly low v neck either but the length was not right at all I'm 5'2" so not tall and it was a couple of inches above my knee, it needed to be just below or just on my knee. Even wth heavy black tights it wasn't right So disappointing that I had to return it , and with no other options from m and s I've had to resort to an existing outfit

I bought this dress last minute for a party when I could find nothing to wear in the shops. It's a very cute dress and fits really nicely and very flattering. As I was going to a really smart party, I dressed it up with a scarf and heels. For the money, this is a great dress and I know I will wear it again.

This dress fits well on the arms and body but is about 2 inches above my knee. I am 5'4" and nearly 60 so I don't want mini dresses any more. I am keeping the dress because I can wear it with thick black tights and feel happy with the look, but it's not described as a mini dress. I've always bought my clothes from M&S but I am increasingly finding the material and lengths to be unreliable and sometimes just not up to the standard that I am used to, yet the prices remain don't reflect this backward slide.

Didn’t like the material so returned.

Unfortunately the top part of the dress fitted perfectly, but why was the elastic for the skirt between the waist and under bust? It would have also been better in a more seasonal colour for now!

I love this dress, it is lovely and light yet the sleeves give some cover when it goes cooler. I had read other reviews and yes it is looser around the midriff but that didn’t deter me. I’m a 14 and felt really slim in this dress. I wore it for work and received lots of compliments for it. But it could be dressed up for going out. Would love it in a few more colours for the spring/summer season.
